From Woodstock, take A44 to Evesham. Once out of Woodstock, after about 1 mile you will see on your left hand side a petrol station, and The Duke of Marlborough pub. Turn left here, sign posted to Combe, Charlbury and Stonesfield. After a few hundred yards the road turns sharply to the right with a left hand turn on it. Turn left here. You will drive through some woods along a long straight road. This known as the Stonesfield Straight! This road will take you directly into the village. On entering the village, stay on this road, passed the war memorial, then the road turns sharply to the right, passed some shops on your right (Best One and a hairdressers), then down a small hill. At the bottom, the road forks, take the left hand fork and go back up the hill. At the top, turn left. This is 'The Ridings'. We are on the same side of the road as the garage, a few houses down. You will see two stone pillars with balls on top. This is the entrance to our drive. At the top of the drive is a five bar gate with 'Orchard Lea' on it. Beware (!) it is an electric gate that opens outwards. To operate the gate, park about a car length from the gate and press the button on the wall, drivers side. Press once, it will open, drive into the drive and the gate will close automatically after a few minutes.
